Helen & Jonas at Ulriksdal - The dream wedding!
What if a project leader should marry another project leader, do you think it would be a perfectly planned wedding? Well, in this case there's no doubt Helen and Jonas had a perfect wedding yesterday and even the sun and the rain played their parts - some rain for a happy marriage and sun for the outdoors photo session!
The sparkling wedding rings are were made by Gunnar Fahlström.
Helen had a beautiful designer dress, Cosimma from Melissa Sweet's collection at Priscilla of Boston. I just love the floral details!
The bride and groom met each other in their wedding clothes for the first time in the garden at Ulriksdal's castle. I tried to keep myself in the background and used my 135 mm f2.0 lens to capture the moment.
Helen chosed pale pink roses for her bouquet and it was perfect for the romantic photos they had asked for.
The first of the portraits below was shot with 16-35mm f2.8 at 20 mm and f2.8. For the other portrait shots I used 85 mm f1.2 wide open.
Just look at Jonas' face when he saw his bride walk up the aisle whit her dad - pure love!
And as always, last but not least, many thanks to my assistant! This time Thomas Ljungberg did all the hard work carrying my stuff throughout the portrait session! He also made sure we had four umbrellas with us but luckily we never had to use them! You can see some of his photos from this wedding on his blog here!
My network of wedding photographers inspires me!
One could say that we are competitors but I really prefer to say that we are colleagues and during the last year we have also become close friends! I talk about the great wedding photographers Erika Gerdemark, Anna Roström at Smallpigart, Alicia Swedenborg, Jenny Hammar and Lieselotte van der Meijs with whom I have had many fun and inspiring meetings.
What ties us all together is the passion for our work but also the will to inspire and be inspired. This helps us to grow and develop creatively. Now you can find our web site at Weddingphotographers.se!
Although we are all based out of Stockholm, we travel all over Sweden and the world to photograph weddings. We have separate companies and different ways of working, but we have the common goal to help our clients get the best photos they can get and constantly strive for a healthy wedding industry, both for photographers and our clients!

Photographers - Join me on a wedding tomorrow?
I just got a message that my assistant for the wedding tomorrow can't come with me which means that I have an opening for you if you want to join me and see how I work! The wedding is in Solna (Ulriksdal). Text me at 070-175 43 24 or e-mail at linda@lindisima.se.
These photos are from a May wedding 2009 at the same location.
Marie & Johan - A couple sweet as candy!
I love sweet candy. I love weddings. I love colours. I love beautiful dresses and details. And yes - I loved to photograph Marie's and Johan's wedding portraits in Uppsala! As you can see they had chosen both pink and turquoise as their colours for the wedding and I think the combination is great for such a happy day as a wedding day!
It's true that all brides are beautiful but it's also true that Marie definately is one of a kind! Just look at this photo, shot with 85mm f1.2L wide open and please notice that I have done nothing with her skin in the post processing (except for colour enhancing etc.)! The extremly short depth of field and her completely flawless face was a match made in heaven and made my work as a photographer pure joy!
Her hair decoration was made by Prickig Katt.
The photo below absolutely is one of my favourites!
Lindísima Wedding Photography - 5 month later...
When I first met with Stephanie and Christian at their booking appointment in July 2009 they had plans to get married in Stockholm in June 2010. But, it turned out that they got married in New York at New Year's Eve 2009 instead. The question then was whether they still should let me take the photos to celebrate their love and guess if I felt lucky when they did!
Stephanie's parents are from Taiwan but she grew up in the US and now lives in Solna. Christian currently lives in Belgium but in a month they will both move to New York so they will never have to be away from each other again!
We decided to meet near Slussen at 6 pm a couple of days ago and the evening sun is amazing..... just look at the photo below shot with Canon EOS 5D MarkII and 85mm f1.2L (wide open)!
Lindísima Photography - let's talk about it!
A couple of days ago I met Emily and Natalie to talk about photography and my work as a wedding photographer for a school project. They did an inteview with me and despite the fact that they filmed it - I don't like to be in front of the camera... - it was really nice to meet them! Of course I then had to take a few photos!
Wedding at Grand Hôtel, S:t Jacob and Bååt's palace
Susanna and Peter got married on the first day of summer in Stockholm. The sun was shining from a clear blue sky and when I met with Susanna at Grand Hôtel for her preparations one could look at Stockholm city at its best from their balcony. She had picked a dress from Atelier Diagonal and it made her glow, it was just perfect for her! Do you want to know what was in the huge box from Tiffany's? Well, so do I, it was a wedding day gift to them and I couldn't avoid to notice the classic Tiffany colour.
Susanna and Peter, congratulations to both of you!
The wedding planner Carina Sturesson at Carisma Bröllopskonsulterna did a great job throughout the day!
From now on I think I should advice all future grooms to take a look at Peter's outfit. He definately has earned a golden star in the photographer's heaven because of his hat and other details!
When Susanna was asked by the priest before the wedding if she could define the word love, she simply said "Love is Peter". I don't think she had to say it because it's very obvious from the photo below.
Last but not least, thanks to both my friend and fellow photographer Åsa Deleau Wiklund and to my husband Teno for assisting me during different parts of the day!
Teaser from today's sunny Stockholm wedding!
Just as I thought today's wedding was great! The couple must have been blessed by the sun because when I woke up this morning the sun was shining on a clear blue sky. It truly was a spring wedding and I sure will post a lot of photos from this wedding. But for now, here is a teaser!
Just for me, just because I wanted to be inspired...
Tomorrow I will have a long day of wonderful work - one boudoir session at Grand Hôtel in the morning followed by a 6 hour wedding which I know will be fantastic. Today however, was one of those rare days when I take pictures just for me, just because I want to... I spent 30 minutes today sitting under the cherry trees in Kungsträdgården doing nothing and it was the best thing I have done in a long time!
