Sara & Anneli - I look forward to meeting you!

bloglovin bloglovin I have got soooooo many more e-mails from photographers all over Sweden than I had expected - and I looove it! I really would like to meet you all - and who knows, it might happen some day! - but for now I can only promise to let two of you come along during weddings this season. How did I choose? Well, I have actually stuck to what I wrote initially so I have selected two persons which have proven that they love wedding photography! Who they are...? Anneli Larsson and Sara Landstedt! I really look forward to meet you! Please call me to find a date (you have my phone no. in my reply by e-mail)!

And of course, a photo from today's wedding at Hammarby Sjöstad. I will post more pictures from this wedding soon to prove the bride wrong... She told me she doesn't photograph well but she definately doesn't know what she's talking about, because she is absolutely stunning!

Photographers - only a couple of days left to apply!

When I launched my new blog I gave you the opportunity to come with me on a real wedding, see this post. I have received sooo many nice emails and by the end of the week I will announce the name, or names..., of  those who will get the chance to spend a day practising and discussing all aspects of wedding photography with me. And yes... the last picture below is a photo of me in action, shot by my great wedding photographer colleague and friend Anna Roström at Smallpigart. The result from my crawling on the floor? Well, you can see it above, the photo of the wedding rings!

Lindísima Aubergine Wedding Inspiration

I don't think anyone can miss that I love colours and I have to admit that such a simple thing as a colourful flower - or in this case a vegetable! - always cheers me up. Now a special message to my husband follows: No, an orange carrot as present doesn't make me smile the same way as a delicate spring flower!

Welcome to my newly designed Lindísima world!

Because I haven't updated the design of my website since 2007 it was about time I did something about it! I started to work on the new site for quite some time ago but I have been so busy (which is a good thing) that it took me a bit longer than I had hoped for to get it ready. But, now it's here and I am soooo happy about it!

Early on in the process I new I wanted a site that is light, clean, new and fresh, combining the blog with the traditional portfolio website and shows my photos in the best possible way for clients, clients to be, colleagues in the business, friends, family and yes... practically everyone! I asked Robert Eldrim at Medljus, who is a photographer but also a great web designer, if he could help me with some design ideas, and yes, what you can see now is all based on the great initial drafts he came up with! I want to send a BIG hug to both him and the people at Vektorgrafik that made it all happen, thanks guys!

To you, my blog readers, I want to say a warm welcome! I hope you enjoy the site, my photos and that you want to talk to me and each other through blog comments and in every other way possible that you can think of. I love to get comments on my work so please feel free to speak your mind here on the blog and also to share my site with the world and to link to it whenever you want! And yes, you can write in both Swedish and English but I'll stick to English most of the time because of my international blog readers. So, WELCOME and enjoy my site!

Photographers, I want to share my experience with you!

Vinterbrollop i Allhelgonakyrkan I frequently get questions by e-mail about my work and some of you ask me if  you can come along during a real wedding. My answer to that is yes, most of the times I do have an assistant with me but because I need some consistency I cannot say yes to everyone but have to stick to a few persons each wedding season. But, I think now is a good time to get to know some new, fantastic, photography loving people! So, if you want to join me at a wedding this summer, tell me why you looooove to do wedding photography (or, if you haven't done it yet, why you think you'll love it) and why I should bring you along! Afterwards we can have a cup of tea and talk about the post processing if you want to!

So, why don't you write your comments here on the blog, send me an e-mail or tell me on your own blog or website - in that case, link to this blog post and let me know by making a note in the comment field (of course both English and Swedish will work just fine). I will announce here on my blog who is the lucky one and then we pick a date and occasion that suits us both. Come on, tell me!

Update - New wedding albums in the portfolio!

I will post new photos here on the blog but I have also added a portfolio section where you can find albums that show more photos than I normally post on the blog. I think the portfolio is important because when a bride and groom to be are about to choose their wedding photographer they really should consider the photographer's ability to create high quality photos all the way - not only one or two great ones. Here you can see some of the portfolio photos from Viktoria's and Christoffer's wedding at Storkyrkan Stockholm, followed by the wedding reception at Grand Hôtel. If you want to see the full album, click here.

Sneak peek - Mina's & Sumit's civil wedding portraits

I really shouldn't work with these photos because I have so many other things to do right now, but I just have to! Well, I could argue that I looked at these photos from Mina's and Sumit's civil wedding just because my husband was curious and wanted to see what they looked like (he assisted me during this shot), but to be honest, that's just a excuse. Anyway, here's a few favourites of this gorgeous couple!

Sneak peek - Mina's & Sumit's Indian Wedding

Mina and Sumit had their first of three wedding celebrations March 20 and I had a long but really great day. The portait session at 7.30 am was by far the earliest one I have done but for this wedding couple I can do anything! Mina and Sumit, I promised to post a few photos very quickly and here they are, I hope you love them! But, you, your friends and family and all other blog readers will have to wait for the full blog post until a week or two. Enjoy!

Malin & Mathieu - a French Swedish Love Story

Do you want the recipe for a great wedding? Well, do just as Malin and Mathieu did! The ingredients are: family and friends from Sweden and France, a great hairdresser, a really cool place for the portraits and to stay (Hotell Hellsten), have rice mixed with lavender thrown at you after the ceremony, scented flowers in your hair and bouquet, pick a winter day when it's -10 degrees and snowing, choose a photographer equipped with tons of inspiration, have warm soup for the guests after the cold trip from the church and - I think this is a main ingredient :-) - talk your parents into dancing Thriller together with you in front of all other guests after dinner!

Malin's and Mathieu's wedding was quite a challenge because of almost six hour's of shooting indoors in practically no light, but at the same time I really enjoyed every minute because everything was perfect! Malin and Mathieu - you and your families are the BEST! I hope you looove the photos!
